“It’s just dandelion tea,” he said.
I took a sip and then a bigger sip as it was
very good. Grimhilt put some bread, broth, fish,
and pears on the table for us to enjoy.
“Thank you,” I said.
Both Aegis and I ate and drank with gusto. It
didn’t take long before we had eaten all the
food on the table. To wash it all down, I
finished my tea and then set the empty mug
back down on the table. I was surprised when
Regin picked up my mug, swirled it several
times and then turned it upside down onto the
table. A bit of liquid dribbled out, but he wasn’t concerned with that. He seemed to be studying
the tea leaves that were stuck to the inside of
the cup. I furrowed my brow, looking over to
Aegis.
“He is reading your tea leaves,” he said.
