Katelin Quinn had a storybook life until tragedy changed its course. Along the road to recovery Kate discovers a forbidden love, a mother’s secret, and a handsome stranger that will change her life, and the life of her sister Kasey, forever. A postcard, faded by time, will lead Katelin back to her Irish heritage, and into the arms of the man she was meant to love.
The Celtic Rose Trilogy is an interconnected trio of novellas about two sisters Kasey and Katelin Quinn. The sisters are identical twins who learn that their perfect world is not what it seems to be. The discovery of their biological father, secret’s their mother kept from them, and a faded photograph, will change their lives in ways they could never imagine.
This series takes place in both America and Ireland, spans four generations, and explores the pitfalls of love, the importance of loyalty, and what it means to be a part of something bigger than you. I hope you will enjoy the journey!
You could say that my love for writing began in grade school when my young imagination was expressed through storytelling. My time in study hall (remember study hall?) was spent creating characters and developing plot ideas. Unfortunately, my stories ended up in a drawer where they sat for nearly two decades.
After graduating from college with a business degree, I began my career as a technical writer. I developed training modules, wrote office policy, and employee handbooks. Needless to say, technical writing did not provide the creativity I craved. So I decided to pull my short stories, poetry, and the beginnings of a novel out of my drawer and began my creative writing career.
I self-published my first book, The Last Rose of Summer, book one of The Celtic Rose Trilogy in February of 2014. Book two in the trilogy, A Wild Rose in Spring, will be available January 2016. The Celtic Rose Trilogy is a trio of novellas filled with memorable characters, plot twists, and of course—romance. If you like Nora Roberts or Nicholas Sparks, you’ll enjoy these interconnected stories of love, sacrifice, and devotion. I hope that you will enjoy the journey!
The Celtic Rose Trilogy celebrates Kasey and Katelin Quinn’s Irish heritage. The two sisters find a postcard, faded by time, it leads Kasey and Kate on a journey back to her mother’s birthplace, where they discover that their Irish roots run much deeper than they imagined.
The locations in the Trilogy were inspired by my home state Colorado, as well as, my own Irish heritage and a connection to the "little island with the big heart," that ran deeper than I imagined.

The Last Rose of Summer
As the plane began its final descent Kate looked down at the island below; she saw a crazy-quilt of green and in the distance the ash gray silhouette of the Wicklow Mountains against a brooding Irish sky. Katelin understood why Kasey longed to be in this place—its wild and majestic beauty called to her, as well.
