Maybe life was not as black and white as Kasey Quinn wanted it to be. It seemed her life had been determined before she was born. The schools she would attend, the clothes she wore, the people she called her friends and the day she would take her place in the family business. But fate had a different plan for Kasey’s life. A predetermined plan that was set in motion years before, when the lives of five people converged and her journey with Sean McKenna began. I hope you will enjoy book two of this romantic trilogy.
The Celtic Rose Trilogy is an interconnected trio of novellas about two sisters Kasey and Katelin Quinn. The sisters are identical twins who learn that their perfect world is not what it seems to be. The discovery of their biological father, secret’s their mother kept from them, and a faded photograph, will change their lives in ways they could never imagine.
This series takes place in both America and Ireland, spans four generations, and explores the pitfalls of love, the importance of loyalty, and what it means to be a part of something bigger than you. I hope you will enjoy the journey!
You could say that my love for writing began in grade school when my young imagination was expressed through storytelling. My time in study hall (remember study hall?) was spent creating characters and developing plot ideas. Unfortunately, my stories ended up in a drawer where they sat for nearly two decades.
After graduating from college with a business degree, I began my career as a technical writer. I developed training modules, wrote office policy, and employee handbooks. Needless to say, technical writing did not provide the creativity I craved. So I decided to pull my short stories, poetry, and the beginnings of a novel out of my drawer and began my creative writing career.
I self-published my first book, The Last Rose of Summer, book one of The Celtic Rose Trilogy in February of 2014. Book two in the trilogy, A Wild Rose in Spring, will be available January 2016. The Celtic Rose Trilogy is a trio of novellas filled with memorable characters, plot twists, and of course—romance. If you like Nora Roberts or Nicholas Sparks, you’ll enjoy these interconnected stories of love, sacrifice, and devotion. I hope that you will enjoy the journey!
My goal when choosing Ireland as the backdrop for The Celtic Rose Trilogy was to give you, the reader, a glimpse of Ireland's immense beauty and reinforce the notion that... "Your feet will take you where your heart is." Isn't that what we all desire?

A Wild Rose in Spring
As they headed toward the western coast of Ireland, to where the mountains met the sea, Kasey felt a change in the air. A cold misty rain had come in from the Atlantic. Most tourists complained about the excessive moisture—not Kasey, she loved the rain. She loved the fragrance, the feel, the way it made all the shades of green brilliant under the soft gray of the Irish sky.
The drive through the countryside reminded her of how much she craved the simple life that Ireland had to offer. Kasey delighted in the lazy pace, green fields, and meandering country lanes that seemed to ramble on forever, never in a hurry to get to where they were going. Every now and then, Sean would stop while herds of sheep or cattle made their way across the road from one pasture to another. It was life’s way of making travelers stop to enjoy Ireland’s immense beauty.
