As Luke had warned, Victoria went on and on about the small town, telling stories of ghost sightings and how the townsfolk would report seeing a woman running down the middle of the main road at night, every year on the anniversary of her death.
“How did the woman die”?
“She was hung.”
Addison gulped. “And the baby?”
“The baby is said to have lived and went on to rule the town.”
