The Book of Jeremy

The next day we returned home, and I could hardly wait to begin my videos now that the Lord had given me direction. I looked around for a quiet place where I would not be disturbed. This was not easy in a  household of ten people. Finally, I went into the bathroom and locked the door. I got out my list and looked for a place to set up my phone. I sat on the side of the tub with the toilet in front of me, lowered the lid, and put down my papers. I grabbed a hand towel and arranged it on top of the toilet tank to hold my phone. When I checked to see how I looked, tiny dolphins danced behind me on the shower curtain. “No, that’s not right,” I said to myself. I swiped the curtain aside to reveal a pink and black checkerboard tile wall. It was hideous, but it was better than the dolphins. I smoothed my papers and cleared my throat. It was time to press the Record button.
