As already stated, diet and exercise is an easy formula to remember. This book is not meant so much to teach you about exercise but to teach you how to change the way you think. Once you have the mental part, go exercise. There are books and websites on exercise available. But they’ve always been available. The key is your mind. You need the focus, the desire, the will, the self-control.
You don’t need equipment to exercise. Exercise equipment is just another tool. It is for those who have advanced; or else, it often just takes up space. Beginners should first start exercising without equipment. That’s because if you won’t exercise without equipment, you won’t exercise with equipment. Your desire to lose the fat on your body, and your self-discipline to do so, will dictate whether you exercise or not. It has nothing to do with exercise equipment. Jesus stated: “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with very much.”13 The same principle applies here. You do not need exercise equipment, but you need desire and self-discipline.
