Learned behaviors come from our parents or societal standards. Weight-
maintainers adapted new behaviors by ignoring those standards and beginning to listen, trust and accept their bodies. In the process, they learned to eat for fuel, eat for pleasure and eliminate self-judgment. The latter is the most difficult and takes time and practice.
