With A Circle of Trust there is no beginning and no end, which signifies that your love for one another is endless and will last forever.

”A Circle Of Trust” is a story with social emotional learning (SEL) in mind. It has been praised by parents and teachers worldwide.

In the fourth installment of the delightful Honeycake series, Nala goes into her papa's office without permission and breaks his favourite mug. Nala panics and hides in her bedroom.

With the help of her parents, Nala learns a valuable lesson of trust and how to have an open and honest communication in a safe space.

Nala also learns that trust takes a long to build and can easily be destroyed in a split second!

This book has a dual purpose, to enlighten children on the importance of trust and open communication as well as to educate parents on the vital need to create a safe space for children to open up from a young age. This book is also excellent for strengthening bonds between parents and children as they read it together and implement the lessons learnt in the story.

Readers give this book and series a 5.0 out of 5 stars!

FAMILY AND TRUST

“This book affected me on several levels. First, the colorful appeal is very strong. The sunny palette of orange, red, turquoise, and yellow underscore this family story of warmth and caring. Second, the child's regret at breaking her father's favorite mug is conveyed realistically, and the unfolding of the incident serves to enforce a message of family unity and trust. I have not seen the previous Honeycake books, but since I am a grandmother, I certainly plan to check them out as potential gifts!”

THE TRUTH WILL SET YOU FREE!!!

“This is an amazing book. Trust, honesty and communication is essential characteristics of life. Honeycake talks about this very well. It’s hard to trust, but this book talks about the value and the importance of trust as it relates to life. It is a wonderful lesson that will teach young people the value of trust. The author is absolutely talented. You have to buy this book. All kids will love it!”

FABULOUS CONCEPT OF INCLUSION AND BELONGING

“If you were ever looking for a book to increase a child's feeling of belonging and safety within the family dynamic, this is the one. A little girl worries about telling her family that she has broken something, which she is terribly upset about. But, with the help of a loving and supporting circle of trust, she is able to finally understand that there is always a safe space for her, to be honest, and open. A place of love and acceptance. A beautiful story”

It's the perfect gift for all teachers and children, preschool through grade 3. It helps caregivers and educators start an age-appropriate conversation on the importance of honesty and open communication which will ultimately pave way for them to develop healthy relationships in life.

Parents and Teachers Toolbox: Honeycake is an empowering series curated to empower young children to become aware of big emotions.

A Circle of Trust will not only shape a child’s character but will also help moms and dads to adopt effective parenting skills to nurture their children. Sometimes, reading a children’s book can be educational for adults as well. As life gets increasingly complicated books with resonating lessons can remind us of the simplicity and innocence that gets lost along the way In this fourth installment of the Honeycake series, Medea has imparted a valuable life lesson on building trust between parents and their children. In this book kids learn the importance of honesty and open communication which will ultimately pave way for them to develop healthy relationships in life. Parents will also learn that they must create a safe haven for children so they are not afraid or hesitant to approach them when in trouble or while facing a challenging situation. It is also equally important that parents continually reinforce the significance of honesty in their children so that it becomes a natural way of life for them. This builds confidence in children and they will be more likely to take the right step. A Circle of Trust was a fun and educational read. I highly recommend it for all children.

About the author

Medea Kalantar, a Reiki Master and Practitioner, is an award-winning author of a new children's book series called Honeycake. Medea was inspired to write these books when she became a grandmother. Her stories are all based on her own family, whose members come from many ethnic backgrounds. This unique mix is a perfect recipe, and it's the reason that she calls her grandchildren her little Honeycakes. With more lovely stories to tell, Honeycake will be followed by a series of books. Each one tells valuable life lessons and gives parents and children the tools to overcome obstacles in their everyday lives. These books will teach children how to do random acts of kindness, have honest and open communication, and practice gratitude. Children will even discover how to meditate and manage their emotions when things don't go their way. Medea writes her stories to help young readers count their blessings and to share positive messages about diverse multicultural families.
