Fate's been cruel to Sarah Kennedy. Not once, but twice, her future has been altered by the turn of a card. Believing she's been abandoned by everyone she cares for, and barely holding on to her sanity, she finds herself caught up in a battle of wills between two men.

Luckily for her one of them is Cam. He vows to keep her safe from harm. Little do they know how hard that promise will be to keep. With no hope of escape Cam calls on Declan and his fellow Wounded Heroes for assistance.

What follows is a crazy, violent adventure that could cost them all their lives. But then, these are the Wounded Heroes, and they’ve never shied away from a conflict before.

Gosh poor Sarah broke my heart, so much pain and anguish for one person she gutted me, when she found enough strength to start fighting back. Cam stepped up in some ways but in others I wanted to give him a kick up the butt, ok he didn't know her story but still he recognised she was more than her circumstances appeared. This whole story gripped me and I ended up reading until quite late two nights running because I didn't want to put it down, not good with work the next day. I am hoping there will be more from this team of guys, they all deserve their story told and I love how they jump as soon a call goes out for help. Suspenseful and highly emotional story that has you needing tissues in places. Love, love, loved it.

Ava Manello has pulled out all the stops with this book and given us a fabulous read. I have read her books before but I have to say this one is my favourite. It's a story with lots of action to keep you on the edge of your seat but it's also about finding love when you least expect it.

Sahara and Cam are brought together in pretty unusual circumstances and now Cam has to keep them both safe when a bounty is put on their heads. The more time they spend together the more their feelings for each other grow stronger, but Cam doesn't do relationships, if they both make it through will Cam realise that Saraha may just be the women for him.

A great 5 star read with a beautiful ending. Grab your copy now!!

***Cam can be read as a standalone but I would highly recommend reading Declan first***

Great book, can be read as a stand-alone or as the 2nd book in the series either way it doesn’t take away anything away from the story line.
Well written with strong characters, a storyline that pulls at your emotions as you are taken on a rollercoaster ride. The ending was just perfect.
Can’t wait for more of this series. Bravo Ava a fabulous 5* read.

5.0 out of 5 stars When family is more than blood.

Where do I begin? Cam, By Ava Manello was well worth the wait. The story is beautifully written in first person, present tense and flows seamlessly from start to finish. The descriptive writing, character development and character observations were excellent, making me not only empathise with Sarah or Sahara's personal story but provoked my thoughts far beyond the story of the subject matter in the story. *No spoilers. Cam is a flawed hero; a character who doesn't value himself outside his skill set, but boy does his training make him one fierce protector. This quote from the book, "I'm guessing you're going to need some help cleaning up?" No, questions, no fear. Fred obviously has hidden depths. << is just one of the many dry character observations made by Cam that struck me as something a man such as him would make. Cam appears a bit lost at times, which I would imagine is true to form for a soldier who's been exposed to the wrath of war. However, when the chips are down < no pun intended, he knows exactly where to turn. His trusted band of brothers in Declan, Luke, Jacko and Ryan have Cam's back and in this story he learns they really are the family he can rely on. being somewhat true of a man who's making the story a captivating page turner. The pace of the story was perfect and I loved the epilogue. I highly recommend this book for anyone who likes an easy, page turning read with substance.

Cam finds himself in a bit of a jam. With the help of his army buddies they succeed in eradicating the monster, heartfelt moments that brought tears to my eyes. Beautifully written.

I think I preferred Cam to Declan. It was a good storyline. Not sure I like how everything is written in paragraphs but when I get over that I liked it

5.0 out of 5 stars Emotional Rollercoaster!

Another fantastic read from Ava! The story-line is beautiful, with a balance of danger, heat and heartbreak I just couldn't put it down. Although there are elements I will never forgive her for - they add to the overall depth of the story and just tie you in deeper to the wounded heroes and their inner battles. <3
