Kris and Kari got ready to play “Jingle Bells” and Warren assisted by pawing the bells. He was so happy to have his own instrument that he gave a kitty smile and a special honk. Honk. Honk. Honk.
As Warren was pawing the bells, several bells fell off the bright red and green ribbons. The kitty inside him took over and he started to chase the bells around the stage. Bells went everywhere. Under band chairs, down the steps, and into the aisle. Warren chased them all. He was a whirlwind of entertainment running after the bells.
Warren’s play time caused the music to stop. Giggles erupted from the audience and this time Mr. Woody said, “Warren, what are you doing? You were supposed to be playing the bells with the music, not chasing them all over the auditorium. When I said to have fun with the bells, this was not what I had in mind!”
The room became silent. That was until Warren saw something hopping down the aisle. It was small and gray.
Warren honked and honked. He went after that furry gray hopper and wanted to play. The chase began.Through the aisle, under chairs, and finally up the stairs and onto the stage.
