One fine day as I sat in the food court waiting for my delicious cowburger to be cooked, I felt driven to analyze the clock on the wall instead of just staring at it impatiently (I was late as usual). What I discovered was a series of numbers:
How did I do this, you ask? I divided the clock into 3 equal pieces (with my powers of visualization, not a laser beam - no clocks were injured in the making of this theory).
I cut a clock pie into 3 pieces with an arrow at the end of each cut, pointing at the 12, 4 and 8. Adding those three numbers together, you get 24. Adding together the 2 and the 4 from the 24, you get 6.
The next step would be to repeat the procedure with the arrows all rotated by one digit: 1 plus 5 plus 9 equals 15; 1 plus 5 equals 6. That makes two sixes in a row.
Repeated at the next rotation, 2 plus 6 plus 10 equals 18, and 1 plus 8 equals 9.
Again at the next rotation: 3 plus 7 plus 11 equals 21, and 2 plus 1 equals 3. This is the last step, because the next step would be 4 8 12 but that's the same as the first step.
The final result is a repeating sequence of 6 6 9 3:
There sure is a suspicious abundance of 3, 6 and 9 going on around here!
