On a television set, inside a dirty store window with faded writing, a biography was playing for the passersby to view, “Many years ago Korrynia Aldys had a talent for making and selling the most luxurious chocolates that the world would ever know. In the course of her lifetime, Korrynia built a chocolate empire that spanned the globe. Her empire consisted of factories and shops all bearing the Aldys name. They were known for producing chocolates, bars, truffles, infusions, and rich, creamy drinks that were sought by all, regardless of class. Today that empire exists in the dustbin of history as her family no longer produces what made it famous.
“After her death, the Aldys family spread out and invested in many different interests. Today the family has ownership of Race Tracks, pharmaceutical companies, and government defense contracts. As well as just about anything in between. There are rumors that the family even has contacts in the dark underbelly of crime – although these cannot be confirmed.
