As he thought Jack watched the kids push one snowy ball on top of the other. He knew what this snowman needed. Quickly getting up, Jack dashed into the house and slid into the kitchen - leaving a trail of melting snow behind him. Pulling the freezer drawer open Jack pulled out the tray of icicles that he and Grandpa Frank had made last night.
Rushing back outside Jack noticed that the kids were putting a red and green scarf on the snowman. The buttons were already on his chest. Jack timidly made his way over to the group. With downcast eyes Jack timidly tapped on one of the boys shoulders and handed him the tray of icicles.
"What are these," the boy asked.
"Icicles. For his nose," Jack explained quietly.
"How did you make them blue and sparkly?"
"Food coloring and glitter," Jack answered with a little smile.
