Dear Mr. Randolph,
The reported FEC scandal is real. Everything in Mr. Arrington’s article was accurate, but the information was incomplete. I should know. I investigated the Avilya illegalities. I know how much money was involved, where it went and I have a good idea what it was used for.
I am no longer employed by the FEC. I’m sure you can discover my name, but suggest you not waste your time. The story is far bigger than the role I played. I feared for my life and resigned from the FEC. I relocated far away from Washington, and changed my name. Who I am is irrelevant, but my story needs telling.
The information below is factual except those passages where I offer speculation. Such speculation is clearly indicated as such. I suspect much of the evidence corroborating my story has been destroyed, but the truth can’t and shouldn’t be hidden from the American people. It is the responsibility of journalists like you to expose the truth.
