A thick black hoof attached to a large powerful leg propelled through the air. The cow’s back leg kicked the zombie in the head, full force. An audible crunch of bone echoed through the barn as the zombie found himself suddenly airborne. Though his skeleton was seriously damaged, the zombie remained in one piece and found himself flying through the open barn door, landing on the nearby fence. The force caused by the mighty blow concluded its arc with the zombie’s feet still inches off the ground, the small of his back colliding with the top rung of the fence. The shear momentum caused the zombie’s bodyweight to propel him over the fence and stumble into the dirt on the other side.
The zombie landed on the dusty grass with a loud thump. His body was as close to something called shock as it could be. Since he was essentially a biological automaton, he immediately attempted to recover his balance, staggering toward the nearby tree line.
The zombie tried to stand, his legs wobbly and his whole body teetering unsteadily.
“GAAH!” he moaned in frustration.
It was to no avail. The zombie lost its balance and collapsed sideways into the tree line.
“GAAAAHHH!” the poor undead bugger bellowed.
