Calories:
An average male needs to eat 2500-3000 calories per day depending on stature and bone structure, a female needs to eat 2000-2500 calories per day to maintain body weight depending on stature and bone structure.
A base guideline is to lose one pound per week, a male needs to eat approximately 2000 calories per day, a female needs to eat approximately 1500 calories per day. This will vary slightly depending on current height and weight, daily exercise and the person’s unique metabolism.
