THE SPEED OF LIFE
There is more to life than increasing its speed.
–M.K. Gandhi–
No one on his deathbed says, “Darn, I wish I could have worked one more day!” If people have regrets at the end of their lives, they are usually, “I wish I had said ‘I love you’ more.” or “I wish I had been kinder, more compassionate.” or “I wish I had taken the time to do the things that made me happy.” Living at the speed of life means slowing down enough to listen. Those regrets that people usually experience at the end of their lives are promptings that have been there throughout their lives that they have ignored.
