Negative Feedback
When something wonderful happens, we want to share it. We don't appreciate it when others downplay the event or, worse yet, say, "You can't do that!" God deals with each of us in ways that we respond to. My "love language" is when people say they will do something, and then follow through, even though it is inconvenient. Someone will make a sacrifice for me. It is rare to find someone who will do that, but Jesus always comes through. I can depend on Jesus to complete his promises, to always be with me, and to always care for me. What about you?

John 5:10
They said to the man who was cured, "You can't work on the Sabbath! The law doesn't allow you to carry that sleeping mat!"
Beloved: Shepherd, You are dealing with me differently from others. You treat each person according to individual need, and in ways that each one can relate to. Even so, I hear myself saying, “This can’t be real. It won’t last.” I’m already preparing for rejection and abandonment. Then others imply, if not say, “You can’t know God like that!” But I do, and it is wonderful, and I yearn to know and love You more.
Lover: I won’t abandon you, for I have promised never to forsake you. Don’t abandon me either. For I love our times together. You have much to learn of love and trust and openness. You’ve seen that you CAN. Now it is time to act on what you know.
15“If you love me, obey my commandments. 16And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Advocate, who will never leave you. 17He is the Holy Spirit, who leads into all truth. The world cannot receive him, because it isn’t looking for him and doesn’t recognize him. But you know him, because he lives with you now and later will be in you. 18No, I will not abandon you as orphans—I will come to you. 19Soon the world will no longer see me, but you will see me. Since I live, you also will live. 20When I am raised to life again, you will know that I am in my Father, and you are in me, and I am in you. 21Those who accept my commandments and obey them are the ones who love me. And because they love me, my Father will love them. And I will love them and reveal myself to each of them.”
