Psalm 32:2
What joy for those whose record the Lord has cleared of guilt, whose lives are lived in complete honesty!
Beloved: Father, I spend a lot of time trying to solve the issues of my life. I acknowledge my sin, my independent spirit, and my frustration. You have shown me that You have solutions to all my problems, however difficult, that will satisfy my needs. Help me to follow through on these plans and actions in Your time. Your forgiveness will also be part of my healing.
Lover: I take you as you are, not as you or I would want you to be. I don’t leave you as I found you, but I don’t overwhelm you to change faster than you can. Be patient with yourself and with others.
Beloved: I heard a song yesterday:
“Pray for what you want.
Trust Him for what you get.
Thank God for what you got.
He’ll cause you to want what you need.”

1Brothers and sisters, in view of all we have just shared about God’s compassion, I encourage you to offer your bodies as living sacrifices, dedicated to God and pleasing to him. This kind of worship is appropriate for you. 2Don’t become like the people of this world. Instead, change the way you think. Then you will always be able to determine what God really wants—what is good, pleasing, and perfect. 3Because of the kindness that God has shown me, I ask you not to think of yourselves more highly than you should. Instead, your thoughts should lead you to use good judgment based on what God has given each of you as believers.
