Henry was still speaking. “This is a Georgian restaurant, the owners came to London over twenty years ago. The restaurant’s name, Supra, means feast. If you have the opportunity to visit Georgia, I strongly suggest you take the opportunity. A beautiful country, and an incredibly rich history. Tbilisi, of course, but the smaller cities should be appreciated as well.”
I nodded. “How long were you there?”
He gave me a quick look, which softened as he gave me a smile of approval. “I forget that my enthusiasm gives me away. Five years. Your uncle told me you were sharp, Lina, and I see for myself that he was right.”
“I’d like to hear more about it, honestly.” I would have to have been blind to miss how some of the tiredness fell away from his face as he spoke. “Unfortunately the only Georgia I’ve been to is in the U.S.”
