1 Corinthians 10:13 says ,"He will not allow the temptation to be more than you can stand. When you are tempted, he will show you a way out so that you can endure." This is one of the most misquoted verse in the Bible. You've probably heard someone say "God won't give you more than you can handle." But he does. And he will. What he promises is that we won't be TEMPTED beyond what we can bear and he gives us a way out through endurance.

It Began in the Garden
What thing is just beyond the perimeter of your life? What desire is tempting you to cross the line? Maybe it’s the kind of food that tastes so good but is not so good for you. Maybe it’s a relationship that you desire but is bad for you. Maybe it’s the couch that beckons you to crash on it rather than do the workout that would make you feel better.
Be encouraged today that God has something much better in store for you inside the garden of your life. He knows your nature, and he doesn’t tempt you. He wants a life of abundance for you—the kind that leads to eternal life rather than temporal satisfaction. But if you allow yourself to constantly cross the line and run after that temporary desire, you will experience pain.
