Two lost souls, one powerful connection. As a Dom for Club Moon, Nick Santos uses bondage to alleviate his anger at being forcefully changed. And when he meets Gwen Waters, his carefully controlled world is turned upside-down. Through her, he'll learn what true self-control is and that being a vampire has its benefits.
Freshly divorced from an abusive ex-husband, Gwen doesn't want another domineering man. But when she meets Nick, a world she only fantasized about is laid before her. Can she trust a Dom who's also a vampire? And can Nick be the man she deserves?
Gwen's ex-husband, Marcus, doesn't take kindly to her being with another man. His jealousy is one of the reasons she left him. Except the man she's with currently isn't human and won't appreciate Marcus's intrusion. And Marcus will quickly prove he can be a threat to vampires, Nick specifically. But he'll only get one surprise attack. Better make it good...
Hugo raised narrowed eyes upwards, senses on full alert. Nick was definitely inside the house. And it wouldn’t take long before Nick detected him. “Which apartment is Gwen’s?”
“The one on the right, second floor.” Marcus also looked up at the dimly lit windows. “That’s the living room.”
“Any other exits?”
“There’s a balcony outside the bedroom.”
Hugo raised an eyebrow, sending out feelers for Nick and narrowing down his location. “You’ve been here a few times I gather?” He walked to the back of the house.
Marcus followed behind. “I went in once while she was at work.” His eyes turned gloomy. “Is he in there with her?”
“Yes,” Hugo nodded, looking up. “Is this the bedroom?” Why hadn’t Nick come out yet? Perhaps Gwen proved too distracting.
“Yeah,” Marcus frowned.
“To get Nick’s attention, I’ll tap on the doors,” Hugo said. “Then I’ll jump down and signal when to go inside.”
Marcus nodded. “I should open the front door in the meantime; that way, I’m ready.” A cruel grin curved his lips. “This will be a night they’ll never forget.”
