Joshua grinned. Harold was still on board. He decided to let Harold in on a little of what he had found.
“I’m glad you feel that way. You should know, they have stolen a lot more than government contracts. I wish I could tell you everything I have been through while you were gone. We need to wait for Darla, though. If I had my way, these men would simply disappear from the earth.”
Harold jumped back in the water and mocked feeling shocked. “Doc! I thought psychiatrists were all about forgiveness.”
Joshua’s face darkened, and his voice became cold. “Sometimes it’s easier to forgive after people are brought to justice. This is deeply personal, Harry. These men managed to completely shake my confidence and all but destroy my life’s work. I haven’t been the same. Every day I wonder what mistakes I have made. What advice have I put on that blog that destroyed somebody’s life?”
