Pera sipped at her tea as if she were sitting on her own back porch in the middle of a lazy afternoon. She looked down at the table and without looking up, she said, “So tell us about your dreams, Linsora. The ones that you had when you were incapacitated most recently. I’m sure that you have many questions that need to be answered.”
Linsora was surprised that Pera brought this up in front of everyone. She assumed that Pera would want this conversation to be discussed in a more private setting.
“Well,” Linsora began, collecting her thoughts, “the old man in my dream, Tokor, was standing next to you. I would ask him questions and to each question, he would lean over and whisper in your ear, and you would answer on his behalf.”
“And what do you make of that?” Pera asked, still not looking up.
“If I were a dream interpreter, I would say that he was answering all of my questions through you,” Linsora said sounding like a bored child. Permac noted how much she sounded like Tozar at that moment.
