We all have secrets. They are the small parts of us that remain ours. They are the things that we keep locked away inside of us. Some are only minor and insignificant pieces of the puzzle that make up our lives, while others can be dark and cavernous, consuming us until we find that one person to tell. Other, less innocuous secrets are things that we hind from those close to us in an effort to spare their feelings or keep them from hurting ours. At times, some secrets must be revealed, however, and when we final choke out those words, we wait in anticipation of what the receiver will tell us. Take a look at this excerpt and see how it unfolds.

The Eyes of Tokorel: The Scope of Emotion
“Linsora, what the hell are you talking about? I understand being reluctant to take Tozar to Khizara, with all the strange visions but even before that, you said we couldn’t go. Today you whispered something to Tokor and he suddenly seemed to side with your decision to put off going. What aren’t you telling me?”
