“Then you believe me about the stakeout?” Matt asked.
“Not in the least.”
“Then humor me and open the door. If there’s no one there, no harm done. If someone is there, we may need to start planning what to do.” Matt loved chess and was pretty good at it. He knew that Andrew was smart but was a horrible chess player. It was one of the only things that Matt could beat his friend at. So when he saw the opportunity, he jumped at it. He sensed a checkmate coming on.
“Fine,” Andrew reluctantly agreed and opened the garage door.
