Matt stood his ground. He was a championship wrestler in high school and knew that, if he needed to, he could take Andrew down and hold him for a while at least. As he prepared himself for Andrew’s charge, he failed to notice the shuttering of the POD behind him, and the slight hum and shimmer that accompanied it. Andrew took a step toward Matt as the door behind Matt began to open. The pressure on his back made him instinctively push back. The door pushed harder and a familiar voice sounded from the small crack forming.
“Hey! Who put something in front of the door? Hello? A little help here!”
The voice belonged to Andrew. Matt took a small step forward, allowing the door to open a little more. In the meantime, the Andrew in front of Matt stopped in his tracks and stared at the door. “Don’t open it!” Andrew yelled at Matt. “It’s a trick. It’s Andrew from another dimension. He’s here to destroy the POD!” Andrew lunged at Matt, taking him off balance.
Matt quickly grabbed Andrew and rolled to the floor with him. He caught a movement above him and looked up. Andrew stepped out of the POD. Another Andrew.
“Matt?” the other Andrew said. “What are you doing? Why are you wrestling in my garage?” He stared for a moment. “And, who are you wrestling?”
