Tam looked up from the files she had been going through.
“Stacy,” she said without expression and then looked over to see Gary quietly closing the door. “I see you brought our candidate with you. That’s rather unusual.”
“Not really in this case,” Stacy said. “He’s my husband.”
Gary turned just in time to see Tam narrow her eyes at Stacy. The proverbial poison darts seemed to be shooting from her eyes. “Your, husband?”
“Yes,” Stacy purred and took Gary’s arm as he approached the desk. “My husband.” Stacy kissed Gary on the lips with a kiss that seemed to last a little longer than is should have.
Gary felt like a schoolboy who was being fought over by two lovely young girls. He smiled inside.
“Yugin never mentioned that you were married, Gary. Now that I think about it, neither did you,” Tam said, glaring at the uncomfortable man.
“It never came up and yes, Yugin knew.”
