When you’re going for lunch, go for lunch. We need to have a break. We’ve got to be easy on ourselves as well. So, if you’re going out for lunch, schmooze for half an hour or an hour. But anything over an hour with a friend for lunch and you will need to watch your calories. You’re most probably going to eat more than you should, and now you’re wasting time again because you’re not supposed to be there. You’re supposed to get on the road again to visit your clients. Long lunches equal wasting time, and they are not goal-oriented.
