Mim has lived on Topsail Island her whole life until love takes her away to a life she never could have imagined. The words, there's no place like home, ring true as she finds out that love isn't everything she thought it would be.
CAROL ANN ROSS is the author of the Murder by the Sea series, The Topsail Island Trilogy, and The Blue House Series. Having spent her childhood climbing sand dunes, doing the beach thing, and deep-sea fishing, Carol incorporates those experiences in the works she pens. Her novels are full of intrigue, romance, and incidious intent, all set in picturesque south eastern North Carolina. She is a graduate of UNC-A and Spring Hill College in Alabama.
Topsail Island Tango is the first book in the Blue House series. It is set in the 1960s. Vietnam, hippies, all these things were relevant to this little barrier island. The dance of life goes on everywhere and Mim, the daddy's girl, is lost and confused like the young men going to war. The world is changing and so she must too..
Topsail Island Tango is also available as an audio book

Topsail Island Tango
Edna could not fathom how her daughter, who had spent so many hours playing in the marsh and the beach, fishing there or hunting crawdads, could be so attracted to such a man. But she seemed determined to marry him and she came to believe that Mim’s infatuation with Anthony was being stoked by her desire to be defiant. After all, she had always been a stubborn girl, much like her father.
