“Weeki Wachee, I haven’t been here in ages.” Carrie shielded her eyes from the sun, tittering as she handed her ticket to the teenager at the gate.
“I need a hat.” Carrie strolled, pulling Don by the hand toward a vendor. “This one, I want this one.” She pointed to the red cap with the manatee on the brim. “Give me two.”
Handing the money to the vendor, Carrie tiptoed to place a cap atop Don’s head. “It’s hotter than I expected today. You need a hat, too.”
Settling the cap on his head, Don leaned to kiss Carrie on the cheek. “Thanks babe.”
