CAROL ANN ROSS is the author of the Murder by the Sea series, The Topsail Island Trilogy, and The Blue House Series. Having spent her childhood climbing sand dunes, doing the beach thing, and deep-sea fishing, Carol incorporates those experiences in the works she pens. Her novels are full of intrigue, romance, and incidious intent, all set in picturesque south eastern North Carolina. She is a graduate of UNC-A and Spring Hill College in Alabama.
Blowfish is the third book in the Blue House series. The story is set in the 1960s when Topsail Island was very different than it is today. I remember it well, it truly did seem as if this was my own private island.

Blowfish
Except for the fishermen, she was alone on the beach. She liked it this way. The solitude made her feel as if the island belonged to her. It was only in the summer months, when tourists flooded across the swing bridge, did she feel like an outsider and as if they were interlopers into her fairytale land.
