“That’s alarming regarding Dante, but good to hear the security team responded so well. He doesn’t know you don’t live there anymore, so he’s harassing you. I’ll talk with Mr. DuPont to see what we can do about him. My concern is what would he do next when he discovers you’re not living there? I don’t even want it to progress that far.”
Raven said, “The police were going to patrol the area this week. If he is anywhere near, Victor said he wanted him arrested for stalking and possible mental instability.”
“They have it under control, but I wanted you advised of what is going on.”
“Thank you, but this doesn’t mean I like it one bit that he is trespassing on private property and harassing you. Now, Tamara has to deal with it. I’ll leave it in the professional’s hands. Dante’s girlfriend must have really messed him up good. He’s definitely tipping over the edge. What would he do if he knew the whole story?” Boomer’s eyebrows furrowed again. I think I’ll talk to Redding tonight or tomorrow about putting a man on Dante’s heels. He needs to be stopped before anything further occurs.” Boomer would go to any length to protect his sister.
“Speaking of Victor! Out first practice client is Victor Redding. Friday morning at 11 a.m. in our new facility. I’m going to push everyone to have the inside of the building cleaned, specially decorated for a grand opening type ceremony and ready for the trial run. I’ll even have it catered.”
“That sounds like fun.” Boomer said. “Believe it or not, I did remember because I have the finish date ingrained in my mind.”
“The landscapers have done a gorgeous job with the gardens and grounds. Our meeting tomorrow will make the team Tamara needs giving her time for training before next Friday. Everything is coming together, and Victor Redding will be my, I mean our, main attraction.”
Boomer looked at Raven with glossed over eyes as if he were looking at his thoughts.
“Raven! Did you know Mr. Wright is Victor Redding’s uncle?”
She felt like a blast of wind had blown her backwards. “What? I had no idea! How did you find that out?”
“Mr. Wright told me today. He said, confidentially speaking…knowing full well I would tell you…and he’ll tell Victor. The dissemination of news cycle. I’m on to him now.”
“What did you talk about?” Raven asked.
“He said Victor called him last night wondering how to ask you out on a date without it causing a riff professionally, or making it look like he was after you for your money and not because he was in love with you.”
“He told Mr. Wright he was in love with me?”
“He sure did. I told you the man was falling head over heels for you, didn’t I?” Boomer was enjoying being right.
“This is funny…Mr. Wright said Victor’s mom once told him he was a lady’s man in his time.
Mr. Wright roared laughing and said he told Victor, “I thought I still was!”
“What happened then?” Raven asked.
“Mr. Wright said, if the attraction was there on both sides, go for the golden girl. You’re worth it and why did he think he gave his security card to us in the first place. He said he knew you were special from the first day he met you. That’s quite a compliment coming from Mr. Wright.
