It was inspiring to work with an extremely artistic professional like Dante. His sleek black hair had a few threads of early silver coming on which made him even more intense looking. His eyes were so dark they looked like dark tinted windows on a limousine. It was as if he could look out, but no one could look in. His skin was olive colored and he was very Italian looking, gorgeous. Too bad he had a girlfriend. She sighed a bit and that caused Dante to look over at her.
“Oh, I’m so sorry. We need to get busy with you. I get too focused in my work. Let’s get started because you probably have a ton of homework to do.” Dante quickly became aware of Raven’s school schedule.
It’s ok, I can handle it easily this week.” She replied. She enjoyed being around Dante and working because the money was good and helped out in her college lifestyle. Besides, she had a slight crush on her boss, but she would never allow any feelings or signs of it to surface. It wouldn’t be right since he had a girlfriend in spite of it being the most inflammatory relationship she had ever seen.
Maria was jealous of everything and everyone. She would flit in and out of the studio just to see what Dante was doing. When Raven had first started working with Dante, the other girls were often in very skimpy clothing. Maria would start an argument immediately. After her furious exits, Dante always said something entirely off the wall. Once after she had left, Dante said, “I don’t mind, it, why should she? I really have no time for a girlfriend. I should just admit it and go on with my own life. But I enjoy her spunk and making up after.” He would then smile mischievously. They maintained their love-fight relationship in spite of his explanation and excuses.
Too bad for him. He could have a nice hard-working, and calm girlfriend, like me. Raven thought and chuckled only to herself. He really wasn’t her type. She didn’t even know what her type was to be honest. She had no time for boyfriends or relationships and had no interest in even looking until now. She was going to be getting on with a new life soon and the world seemed to open itself up in strange ways she had never noticed before. There had been no time to notice!
“Okay, Mr. Perfectionist, I’m officially on the clock. Where do you want me to sit or stand?” Raven asked as she hurled herself back to reality.
