I had never seen anyone that looked like Aegis of Bohemia before. He wore his dark, curly hair long. It hung past his shoulders, accentuating his most unusual light-green eyes.
I had to admit that I found him quite handsome, but his clothing made his appearance very curious. Over a puffy, loose-fitting red tunic, he wore a leather vest embroidered with the heraldic moon of Bohemia. The tunic was tucked into loose, black pants which were tucked into tall, black boots. A ruby sword amulet hung from his neck, signifying that he was the true Aegis of Bohemia, the top knight of the kingdom. I noticed another piece of jewelry, a small golden hoop that pierced his right ear. Most intriguing of all was a drawing of a moon etched into the skin of his inner wrist. I felt my cheeks burn when he caught me staring at the unusual marking. I quickly turned away, but not before I saw him grin at me.
