I thought about travelers in space. They're cooped up in a very enclosed environment for a very long time. Even though the air is recirculated and refreshed, it must become stale and something that a person gets used to over time. So, when a space traveler leaves the ship, what does the planet smell like? Does each planet have a signature smell? Take a look at what Linsora thought as she stepped foot, for the first time. into the Tokorellan air! Enjoy.
The Eyes of Tokorel
Linsora generally enjoyed the first blast of fresh air after a trip. This time she wrinkled her nose. The air was heavy with an overpowering sweetness. Permac always said how much he liked the scent of Tokorel. Linsora hoped the whole planet didn’t reek of chikara. Fields surrounded the airfield, an undulating expanse of green leaves with reddish veins.
