Carefully he leaned into the wind as the snow around him began to swirl. Jack twirled in the wind and as he stretched his arms out Jack felt another person grab his hand.
Opening his icy blue eyes Jack met the ivy green orbs of his sister. Noelle grinned at Jack as bright as the sun. Her bell like laughter caused Jack to grin in return.
For the first time since Jack could remember, he and Noelle were playing.
The dance between brother and sister was as pretty as ivy; as Jack morphed from child to adult they sparkled like the sun glinting off of icicles, as the Spirit of Winter had intended.
