“If I might ask, why does the Museum need this many plants,” Elmer asked of the two gentlemen that he was walking with. He couldn’t help but ask, Elmer was by nature a nosey man and just couldn’t help himself.
Andre looked at Kain who shrugged his shoulders in response to the nonverbal question. Andre then shook his head and replied to Elmer, “We’re rebuilding the Gardens of Queen Amytis.”
“Who,” Elmer asked. That certainly wasn’t a name he could remember hearing before.
Kain looked at Elmer and said, “The Hanging Gardens of Babylon. We intend for it to be a fully interactive display for its visitors,” he finished explaining.
Elmer’s bright blue eyes widened and he said, “You’re kidding.” That was something he remembered hearing about in school, but Elmer never dreamed someone would try to recreate it.
“No, we’re not,” Andre replied with bemusement in his voice.
