Jack gave a half smile at the compliment. Thinking for a moment Jack jerked his head up and stared at Dr. Simon before asking, "If I tell you something, you can't tell anyone right?"
"As long as it doesn't hurt anyone," Dr. Simon assured.
Jack bit his bottom lip and looked around the room once more. He let out a deep sigh before saying, "I had a dream last night."
"What kind of dream?"
"It was about my sister. I heard her laugh yesterday and I thought I saw her today," Jack stated with uncertainty.
"You sound unsure," Dr. Simon stated.
"I know she wasn't there but I swear I saw and heard her," Jack stated forcefully.
"You're not crazy Jack. Sometimes, especially during the holidays, people want to be with their family so much that they find a way to be there. Even though your sister isn't with you physically, she is mentally," Dr. Simon explained.
