Regan had his tray pushed to the outer edge of the table and in front of him was a clean lined tablet that he was currently bent over. He was so concentrated on filling the page that he failed to realize that someone was standing in front of his table until the sound of someone clearing their throat reached his ears.
Regan carefully put his pen down and looked up. Upon doing so he found that the school principal was standing patiently in front of him with a small smile on his face. And adding to Regan’s amazement standing next to the principal was none other than Cyril Aldys – whose hands were devoid of Regan’s battered blue notebook. For a short moment Regan was crushed.
