The houses in the community were all built to the same standards. They had a semi-enclosed porch, which was terrazzo tiled and spanned half the width of the house. Beyond the front door, there was a three-foot wide hallway that stretched to the main bathroom at the other end of the building. Along this hallway there were several doors and openings on both sides; to the right there was a six-foot wide opening to the kitchen, immediately across from which was a ten-foot wide opening to the living room; farther ahead, there was a single door on the right which led to the main bedroom and its enclosed bathroom; while on the left there were three single doors, two led to bedrooms and the last led to the laundry room which had an exit to the backyard. They were nice houses.
