A blue smoke emanated off the water as it evaporated. Kadira breathed a sigh of relief, as did Heesham. They looked at each other and smiled as Heesham nodded his head and said, “Praise be to the Almighty! I was really worried about that one.”
He looked to the child, Dana, and said, “My dear, are you all right?”
Dana peeked out from under the covers to see Heesham and warmly said, “Oh, Uncle Heesham! I’m so glad to see you! I don’t know what just happened. It was like I heard someone whispering in my ear, and that was the last thing that I remember.”
