The good news, however, is that you can trick your
brain into choosing to “fight” over “flight.” Violence of
action is the military tactical concept of “unrestricted
use of speed, strength, surprise, and aggression to
achieve total dominance against your enemy” ( Meaning
of the Term “Violence of Action”, 03 Mar2013). Once you effectively engage the enemy in combat, you unleash an
onslaught of attacks and do not let up until your enemy
no longer poses a threat. Locate the threat, advance,
and destroy the enemy. If you are taken by surprise by a

stronger, more skil ed fighter, the only way you are going to be the last one standing is by immediately retaliating in
the most violent way possible. Most people have a very
black and white perception of what defines attack and
defense. Although they are opposing conceptual
strategies, they can be implemented simultaneously, or
even interchangeably. As you defend, you must always
attack concurrently. Or defend yourself by attacking your
enemy’s attack. It is even possible to instantly throw up a
perfect defense to protect your head and neck, and then
turn it into an offensive weapon by simultaneously
crashing your entire bodyweight directly into your
opponent. This wil give you the best opening to intercept
the enemy's attack and get into close quarters fighting
distance. Not only wil you dissipate most of the energy
from the attack and possibly knock out the fighter, you
are assuming an immediate aggressive posture which
will force your brain to choose fight over flight every
single time.
Now that you have hacked your brain in order to elicit
the best biological reaction possible for the situation, you
need to do a similar trick to the enemy's brain by turning
your attacker into the victim in his own subconscious

mind. Activating the self-preservation mechanism in your
opponent can be achieved by creating a perceived medical
emergency in the attacker’s brain, forcing the assailant to
take immediate defensive action in order to prevent
permanent damage or even death. Your attacker wil
instantly go from wanting to fight you to the death, to
self-preservation mode; subconsciously setting aside
whatever objectives he was working towards in order to
deal with the immediate threat to his body.
Rather than trying to directly contest an opponent’s
physical strength or fighting abilities, simply breaking up
the body into Individual Target Systemsandstriking specific parts of the body you can effectively shut down entire
systems that al ow his body to function. This is one of
the many techniques for controlling an opponent at
the subconscious level, and what I refer to as a brain
hack.
