James was staring at Ray. He had opened his eyes shortly after the incident had started, and even before he had managed to be fully awake he had witnessed something he thought only existed in action movies. He had seen Ray get on top of a guy and almost kill him in just a short few motions. The flight attendant did not scream but she was clearly in shock. She was the one who had started this as she had been trying to wake Ray. James did not know it, but he could see on her face that she was panicked and had some sense of guilt he could not really understand, being asleep when the scuffle started.
Ray literally lifted the guy from his seat and sat down where the Air Marshall had been agonizing for a few second that had lasted a true eternity.
“What do you want? You’d better have a good reason for doing that!”
Air Marshalls were typically the guys asking the questions, neutralizing unruly drunk, drugged and agitated passengers. This one was quiet. He was rather looking like a little boy who had been caught doing something he was not allowed to.
“Sir, I’m sorry, I should have identified myself first” Ray was looking at him angrily.
