I was in my room on the phone with my girl Latasha, and I heard moms talking on the house phone. She was arguing with somebody, and I didn’t think nothing of it, because mama had an attitude and a mouth. Hell, she’s my mama and everything, but I know everybody else thought she was a bitch. But about an hour later, shit got crazy. I was in the room still talking to Tasha, and I heard her arguing again. This time, whoever she was arguing with was in the crib. I didn’t know how it started but I had to listen.
“Why in the hell are you even over here? I ain't got shit to say to you.” She said.
“I don't know why you mad at me, you the one that got pregnant.” The male voice in the room said this. Now of course this caught my ear even more, so I put the phone down on my bed and cracked my door a little bit. As soon as I did, that’s when I heard....
“You act like you ain’t have nothing to do with it. You know damn well...”
“Bitch, it probably ain‘t mine anyway. Ain’t no telling how many niggas you screwing out here!” (SLAP!!!!)
That‘s all I needed to hear. I didn’t care who did it, I was out of the room and on him. My mama ran across the hall to get my cousin to break it up. By the time he got there, I had already had him on the ground bloody. Cuz pulled me off of him and the nigga ran out the door yelling "You gonna get yours lil' nigga!"
My attention turned to mama, “Who the hell is that?”
“It don‘t really matter, but if you must know, he's my boyfriend.”
“Why’ve you been hiding him? Nigga too good to meet me or something?”
“I ain't hiding shit!”
“So that’s your new job. And when was you gonna tell me, before or after you had the fuckin' baby?”
“Who in the hell do you think you talking to? I’m your mama, this is my roof and I do whatever I want to! If you got a problem with it, you’re grown. Get out.”
“You know what, you’re right. I’m out.”
