The man smiled as the collie sprinted up, stopped at his feet, then looked questioningly up at him his large brown eyes begging for attention.
“Tsk, tsk. Took you a long time before you heard me, didn’t it Voss?”
The collie twisted his head to the side slightly, as if uninterested, then looked back up at his master.
“Heh, okay. I’m sorry. Hast du mich nicht gehoren, Werner Voss?”
The dog barked excitedly and ran a short circle around the laughing man, then stopped in front of him again.
“Ja, ja, mein schone Hund. Keine Schuld. Zum Flugseug, los!”
