“There is no honor among them, there is no glory.” His voice seemed to magnify somehow into the crowd. “They live for the hunt, to feed, they will kill their own for blood. They believe that our kind, humanity, has been plagued by a disease, a disease that has left us weak and inferior, but they are wrong. It is them that have been plagued, not by a disease, but their lack of humanity. Humanity? What does it mean? Care? Love? Yes, but it means something different to each and everyone of us. To me it means freedom, and that is why I fight for it. Each person here fights for his or her own piece of humanity. They have lost theirs, consumed as they have been by their hunger. They preyed on us, stripping our lives away from us. Alone we were powerless against their efforts to plague us with their disease, but we stand together. Unity is a part of humanity, and united we can put a stop to this infection. They are the infection, but like the flash of a blade, we can cut it away. For we have stood up against them, and their awesome power is futile against our limitless strength. As long as we feel no hate, take no revenge, we can fight them. They were people, our brothers and our sisters. If you cannot pull the sword or fire that trigger, then no one will blame you. Stare into their eyes, and you will see that their last shred of humanity has left them. You will know that they are no more! We are here! They may be the predators, but we are not their prey! For we are what humanity is! Make no mistake, for out here, you face Hell. That is why we must stay united, and we must believe, and we must fight!” The man pumped his fist into the air.
“Fight for Humanity!” he yelled to the crowd.
“Fight for Humanity!” they screamed back.
