How to Create a $1,000,000 Speech
Your contract is a formal agreement between you and the group that is hiring you. It includes speaking fees; what the deposit is and when the balance is to be paid; what you are going to do for them; where the site of the speech will be; who your contact is and contact information; any requirements that you have; a reimbursement clause; and a cancellation clause. In addition to your speaking fee, the client should cover transportation (cabs, Uber, Lyft, etc.), airfare, lodging, meals, and any other miscellaneous expenses you incur on behalf of the engagement.
