Jack was a natural born salesperson if there ever was one. Her success wasn't due to the fact that she learned sales technic. She was truly interested in people. Jack wanted people to have what they wanted.
First her smile and greeting to a customer was never fake. She was glad to see them, for real. It was if they were a guest in her home and she wanted them to be comfortable in her presence.
Customers liked her immediately.
This passage shows her natural ability.
She was not shocked that someone would ask for sexual furniture. She didn't even do a double take. Jack wanted to make sure they got what they needed. If they couldn't get sexual furniture- she knew that maybe they would be happy with sectional furniture.
Who wouldn't want a salesperson like this!!
Jack was a single mom and worked all her life. She was a salesman. Jack would dress up, put those high heels on, and stand on six-inch heels all day long. She could twist her butt as she walked in her pencil skirt and make a sale to men or women. Jack was likable, funny, and wild, very wild. Even into her late seventies, Jack worked. Her son owned several furniture stores, and Jack was a top sales lady. One night three elderly ladies came into the store, and she promptly waited on them. The leader of the trio spoke up, but she had a lisping problem as she said, “Yes, I am looking for sectional furniture.” The problem was that it came out, “I am looking for sexual furniture.” Jack, dressed to the nines, did not bat an eye. She quickly said, “Oh, honey, I can assure you that we do not carry any sexual furniture, but we have some nice occasional pieces right over here.”
