Carnal Moon
Gwen pulled her cardigan closer as she impatiently watched Nick park his black Avalanche farther down the street. She’d seen him pass by from her perch by the window. And no one need know she ran down the stairs like a kid on Christmas morning.
His long strides ate up the sidewalk, but they still weren’t fast enough for her. He wore a dark button-up with black slacks. With his classically handsome face, Nick could have any woman he wanted. Yet he choose her. For some reason.
“Hi,” Gwen breathed as Nick came up to her. She instantly went into his arms, and the world settled again as his arms closed around her. For the first time, she felt truly wanted.
“Let’s go upstairs so I can properly greet you,” Nick murmured softly in her ear. “I’ve been waiting all damn day for it.”
Gwen coyly smiled up at him. “Me, too.”
As soon as she closed the door to the apartment, Nick backed her into it using his bigger body. Gwen didn’t resist as he grabbed her wrists in one hand and held them above her head, his eyes glowing crimson. She met him halfway as his mouth closed over hers, their tongues dancing. His other hand seductively slid up her side and cupped her breast, eliciting a pleased feminine sigh.
